Can be washed in the dishwasher, although to prevent fading over time we recommend hand-washing where possible to prolong the vibrancy of design and prevent gradual fading.

Plates are not a local product, made in China, had to pay a hefty toll fine

On the website they make it sound like the plates are made locally, a british product, but they're actually made in China and at most the print is added in Britain (if at all). Which I didn't realise when I ordered them, so I had tp pay a hefty anti-dumping duty + fees.
It should be made clear in the product description, that this china is not of european origin, but in fact from China, so that customers are warned.
