Total honour to see the brilliant and always charming Alan Baker, one of my Illustration tutors at Westminster Uni back in the day at his Sweet Nothing: New works exhibition at Sotheby’s contemporary gallery. Always inspired after seeing his incredible work –
Loved them all, particularly his stunning windmill (oil and acrylic on panel), ‘Just another end’, and his pencil studies of everything from lions to hippos to people to dinosaurs – ‘Cerebral Archeology’.
Also loved this quote on one of the gallery walls:
